Foodie Friday – Bottle & Bone

Birmingham just keeps getting better everyday…

If you haven’t had the pleasure of visiting Uptown, “Birmingham’s Premier Entertainment District”, I encourage you to do so in the very near future.

After attending #EatDrinkBham  and consuming a tasty sample of bacon from Bottle & Bone, I was persuaded for more.

Upon my arrival during lunch, I immediately fell in love with the overall look and feel of this restaurant that serves as a butcher, deli, and bottle shop.

It was also St. Patrick’s Day, which made our lunch a little more….

Colorful..

Get into what we had:

Dish #1 The St. Patrick’s Day Special: Reuben with house made green kraut, and provolone on marble rye bread. Cool, huh?! Reuben

Dish #2 The Daily Grind: Fresh ground patty, aged cheddar, house pickles, and their special sauce. They decided to make our burger a little festive with a St. Patty’s version of the special sauce.

I think that I can speak for my lunch companion by saying we both enjoyed the afternoon sugar high that occurred after consuming these bottled beverages. (These really took me back to my childhood!) Soda
