Blogger Besties & Almost “Birthday Twins”

What happens when two blogger buddies who are almost “birthday twins” and foodies come together to celebrate?! A fun night out and delicious food!

A few months ago me and my “blogger bestie”, Artney, had the pleasure of attending #EatDrinkBham.

Artney is also the magic behind My Pretty Brown Blog (check it out!).

Bellini’s was listed as one of my top 5 favorite restaurants of the #EatDrinkBham event, so I was overjoyed that we both agreed that this would be a great location for our birthday celebration.

Bellini's Sign

Bellini’s is the perfect spot for a girl’s night out on the town or a date night with your someone special. Most of the items on their menu are made from scratch and you can definitely find that to be true after tasting the various dishes.

Prior to our main dishes, we dined on appetizers, salads, and cocktails.

Bellini's Appetizers

For appetizers, we dined on some of the best calamari I’ve had thus far! It was cooked to perfection (not too crispy, but not too soggy…). I also decided to order a classic Italian salad (mixed greens, roma tomatoes, kalamata olives, carrots, cucumbers, mixed with a creamy Italian vinaigrette.) I just love a perfect vinaigrette dressing!

Bellini's Salad

For the main course, I ordered the veggie lasagna. This dish consisted of pasta, sautéed spinach, mushrooms, fresh ricotta, and fresh mozzarella. This dish is HUGE and very filling! It took me two days to finish it and I still had leftovers!

Veggie Lasagna

Everything was great, but I have to admit that dessert was my favorite part of the dining experience… Everyone knows how much I love bread pudding, so that’s what I selected as my birthday dessert. Artney went with the red velvet cheesecake which looked equally delectable!

Bellini's Birthday Dessert

This is was the perfect conclusion to our birthday celebration at Bellini’s! I’m looking forward to my next visit!
