Another day, another super cool food joint in the city…

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of Uncle Maddio’s  and I can’t wait to go back.

This Atlanta-based build your own pizza concept is also now located in The Village at Lee Branch in Birmingham.

I absolutely love pizza, and could not wait to visit and try out some of the new flavors/toppings.

There were so many great options, but I opted for the Jamaican Jerk Signature Pizza. This pizza consists of tomato-basil sauce, mozzarella, grilled jerk chicken, red onions, green peppers, pineapples and cilantro. All of these ingredients were combined perfectly to provide that Jamaican food “feel”.

In addition to pizza, Uncle Maddio’s  has a variety of salads (the Greek salad is pictured above) and toasted sandwiches to choose from.

I finished my evening of food, fun, and friends with a cannoli (or three) for dessert…

Whether it’s for a quick lunch break, or a fun family night out, Uncle Maddio’s  is the perfect addition to the number of great food places here in the Magic City! Welcome!
